Job Summary:
The Personalised Learning Counsellor will support students in achieving academic success through tailored learning strategies, individual mentoring, and regular progress tracking. The role involves working closely with students, teachers, and parents to identify learning needs and create customized support plans that align with each learner's goals and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students to assess learning styles, challenges, and academic goals.
Design and implement personalised learning plans based on individual student needs.
Monitor and track student progress regularly; adjust strategies as needed.
Collaborate with teachers to align academic support with curriculum goals.
Guide students on study habits, time management, and goal-setting.
Identify and support students with special learning needs or academic gaps.
Maintain detailed records of interventions and progress reports.
Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student development and provide actionable feedback.
Conduct workshops on learning strategies, stress management, and motivation.
Stay updated on educational best practices and counselling techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
Certification in counselling or special education is an advantage.
Prior experience in student counselling, academic mentoring, or teaching preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathetic, patient, and solution-oriented approach.
Proficient in maintaining student records and reporting systems.
